Sunny Sunseri

Sunny is a tattoo artist in the PA Lehigh Valley area , originally from the scranton area. She grew up enamored with the art of tattooing after seeing a sunflower tattoo on her aunt at age 11. Art had always been just a hobby fueled by educational books given to her by her grandfather. Sunny attended Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012 for a semester before chasing a military career and searching for an apprenticeship. She began her apprenticeship in 2015 under the tutelage of Kenneth Beers III and started her tattoo career in 2016. Sunny hopes to one day be able to give back to the community, veterans, and young artists through her passion for the industry and love for the craft.

While Sunny is a color artist on paper and canvas, she specializes in black and grey on skin. She is currently only taking black and grey projects with her clients. Sunny’s favorite subject matter is portraits and dark realism. Will she ever take on color? She’d tell you possibly, it’s an area she wishes to master at some point. In the meantime she wishes to stick to black and grey for the early years of her career.

When Sunny is not tattooing you can find her reading, completing a DIY project, visiting antique book stores, and spoiling her 4 cats. Sunny’s favorite artist is Gustave Doré, and the first tattoo artist she was inspired by is Alexander Grim. Her biggest obsession is J.R.R Tolkien and all his work, her greatest wish is to retire as a librarian, and her favorite subjects to sketch are the elderly and mythical characters/creatures.
